Using Article Submission To Improve Page Rank. The Hazards Of Multiple Submissions Using Spins!

Posted on January 7th, 2010 in Google | No Comments »

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a key factor in driving traffic to your website, and in turn driving traffic to your site is good for your business whether your marketing a product or taking part in PPC advertising programme. There are many different stratergyies to do this, the one i am discussing is article submission. This is done through linking your article to your website or blog. This provides a backlink which can be considered valuable to search engines. However only quality backlinks are counted so dont bother creating artciles on low ranked sites, in fact in some cases it can have detrimental effects to your own page rank. So how to decide which article submission sites are best, well quality backlinks will come from sites featured in the top of search engine results so do a simple search term. Something like ‘Article Submission One way links’. Now just choose one that deals with your niche. Deciding on the right subject matter is key because it can drive interested users if your site is relevant to the submission. Make sure it is a subject you know something about, for example you would’nt discuss the joys of sky diving if you hadn’t ever done it yourself. Try to give your submission some TLC and if you enjoyed writing it chances are people will enjoy reading it. Check your facts, the best way to put off a reader is if your information is incorrect. Try not too overload with links it can put people off or even result in an article being rejected.

Now one very important tip be careful of multiple submissions sites, these are ones that advertise something like get 100 one way links for one submission. Often these sites work on a article spin meta tag. Basically you write an article and in each paragraph of the body you add the spin and an alternative sentence or paragraph then close the tag. This gives you two different sentences so search engines wont consider these to be duplicate content. Anyway this done through out the submission gives upto 100 different variations of the same article  Then the submission is posted onto a various different blogs/sites, all of which will have a slightly different variation to the same article. So yes this does sound all good if theory, saves aching fingers imagine how long it would take to write 100 different articles a long time right? Two problems, firstly search engines are not fools nor do they suffer fools lightly. That is to say that yes it maybe good for now and a sound principle but it is still a cheating way of doing things and the search engine providers will catch on and it could have negative consequences for you in the long run. Secondly you have no control on what the blogs it is being posted on. If your work is being published whose to say it isn’t being published on a site with very low value. If you are going to do it try to spin whole paragrapghs not sentences thus keeping the content rich and unique. I would advise against multiple submission unless you have a very diverse content rich article. Even then keep the amount of different submissions to under 10.

Article submission can be a great way to improve page rank but just be careful of the dangers of doing it wrong. Write unique content, dont plaigerise others work, beware of mutliple submissions and one last pointer dont write artciles on wikipedia for this purpose, check their rules and it clearly states it is against them to write for the purpose of backlinks and also they have a no follow robot txt. Which means one way links wont be tracked by search engines on that site, therefore no SEO value.

Goodluck!

Using Facebook for B2B and Industrial Internet Marketing

Posted on January 4th, 2010 in Social Media Marketing | No Comments »

Social marketing requires diligence. For an effective push, you should aim to modify your profiles almost daily. A profile could include a Facebook profile, LinkedIn profile and even a Twitter account.  The popular social networks are made for people who regularly visit and update their profiles, or add information to the network such as questions, discussion points or links. User generated content from social networks can be a strong driving force for traffic. Updating profiles often could seem daunting, especially if you’re in the industrial and B2B sector and not accustomed to social marketing. For an easy yet effective start, choose one popular social network to focus on. This is a great way to start your social marketing campaign.

I recommend Facebook as a social network to start with for new online industrial marketing campaigns. The service is usable and mixes a healthy combination of commercial advertising, brands with personal accounts. Facebook, has recently modified its settings to its Fan Pages, which are the profiles which businesses can create. They are places for more commercial groups, companies and brands to set up a profile. You can create a profile for your brand and your employees, customers and friends can become fans of your brand. The fan pages are much like the typical Facebook profile page. One can add a photo, information, and post links videos and events. The great new development of a Facebook fan page is the ability to appear in your fans’ news feed when you update your fan page content. Before, a fan page’s only method of reaching a mass audience was to send a private, official message to fans. Now, with the news feed appearance ability, your fan page actions will show in your fans newsfeed, which will help draw attention to your actions without the need to directly message your fans. You can be inobtrusive, yet still maintain a presence through Facebook, via the newsfeed.

Facebook fan pages are a great way to jump in on b2b and industrial social marketing. If you’re not sure what content to post on your page, or if you have enough ammunition to create a worthwhile profile, consider these ideas: when you have a new product, an event or any announcement you can use your Facebook fan page to send an alert to all your fans; you can post interesting industry links to add value to the marketplace Beyond the normal features that come with a fan page, there are a variety of applications you can add to the fan page to make it more fun and more search-engine friendly.

Facebook pages are now being given SEO-friendly URL’s which means the page addresses are more easily indexed by Google. As for the possible backlinks from a Facebook fan page, if you place a link to your main site from your Facebook fan page, that link is “nofollow”. That link will not be recorded by the search engines. However, if you add the RSS feed application to your page and start pulling in posts from your blog and press releases, those links will provide a kickback, or an additional link to your page.  The keywords from the RSS feed will start enhancing your fan page’s searchability and subsequently give you more exposure. Other great Facebook applications include quizzes, Flickr photostreams, video applications and more. Have fun and add value to your page, and your visitors will follow.

If your company has a young workforce, you likely have social media experts right on staff. Getting everyone in your company involved on your Facebook fan page will help delegate some of your social marketing time. Encourage your employees to become fans and encourage them to post photos from company socials, seminars and other work related and more casual links. Social networks are meant to be fun yet informative. Have fun with your venture into social marketing!

Making Money Online Using Facebook Ads

Posted on January 2nd, 2010 in Social Media Marketing | No Comments »

So you wanna make money online? I don’t blame you, but how are you going to do it? Adwords? Maybe, but it’s getting harder to turn a profit. Yahoo Search Marketing? Sure, but they’ve been around for a long time and many of the niches are very saturated.

There is a brand new way of advertising your products and offers online called Facebook Ads. The program is brand new and has never been touched by marketers up until a couple of months ago. The program boasts paying the lowest CPC (cost per click) on the internet. With this said, my team investigated to see what type of results we received from promoting the same offers that we promote on Google and Yahoo. The results were amazing. It’s actually very possible to make money online using Facebook Ads.

Facebook did have a program called “Facebook Fliers” that was successful, but not well liked by internet marketers and promoters. The reason being was you had to pay per thousand impressions and not per click. Marketers decided that they would rather pay per qualified click rather than showing impressions to every bob, joe, and jane on the Facebook network.

Now, here comes Facebook Ads, where you pay per click. On top of paying per click, you are able to target your audience of viewers however you want to. You can target them based on age, gender, geographic area, school, hobby, anything! This option is great, because do you really want to be promoting a sports offer to a 16 year old female? Probably not. Facebook Ads has really changed how internet marketers are able to promote their offers and keep profit margins high.

Nobody knows what the future will bring for networks like Adwords, Yahoo PPC, and MSN Adcenter. The saturation of marketers, niches, and offers has become very high and the days of making thousands of dollars a day paying nearly nothing for your clicks are long gone. The internet is constantly changing and it seems that Facebook is doing their best to keep up with everything that is happening on the internet in relation to trends, marketers wants, and their users wants.

The main reason why Facebook is so successful is because of the popularity of their network. Close to 100 million high school students, college students, and other people are registered and log in every single day of the week. Facebook has become much of an addiction and a necessity across high schools and college campuses. By experts predictions, Facebook will continue to grow for decades to come. Their network includes every feature a teenager or college student could ever want to stay in contact with their friends. The evolution of Facebook Applications proved to be very successful by allowing developers to create their own applications and place them on Facebook.

If you can’t tell by my excitement towards Facebook, it’s really an amazing place to be right now if you are a marketer. The opportunities are abundant, all you need is a bit or originality to turn large profits.

Six Tips for Using Facebook to Support Your Career

Posted on December 29th, 2009 in Social Media Marketing | No Comments »

With over 100 million users, Facebook is one of the most popular Internet social networking sites in the world. If you’re already on Facebook, you know how much fun it can be to read status updates, find long-lost acquaintances, and send cyber gifts. If you limit yourself to just the fun side of Facebook, you could be missing out on one of the most effective aspects of this powerful networking tool–it’s potential to further your career.

It’s a widely-accepted truth that the more people you know, the greater your chances of finding a job or encountering a professional opportunity. As recently as five years ago, jobseekers hoping to grow their professional networks relied on phone calls, emails, or formal letters to make contacts in their field of choice. The development of social media sites such as Facebook marked the beginning of a new age of communication. While it used to take hours to contact everyone in your address book, your message can be broadcast to an audience of hundreds in a manner of minutes on Facebook.

The immediacy and breadth of this technology make it a highly effective professional resource, when used correctly. Take a look at the following tips to help you begin to harness the professional power of Facebook.

<b>•    Be yourself, tastefully.</b>

Think of your Facebook page as an introduction to both friends and potential employers. Most career experts advise caution when selecting photos to post or deciding how and when to express yourself. Would you offer a job to someone who was always online during office hours or constantly degrading their current boss? Photos of your drunken weekend in Vegas might be best shared with a limited group of friends, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the security settings so you can be in control of who can access your profile.

<b>•    Update your page regularly.</b>

Try to monitor your Facebook site weekly to ensure that friends haven’t written  inappropriate comments on your wall or posted photos you’d rather not show the world. Firefox offers a Facebook toolbar which can help notify you when there’s something new on your page. Share your interests and talents online, by creating links to your blog or uploading photos. You may be surprised by the opportunities and connections that could be triggered by a simple posting about your current hobby or latest interest.

<b>•    Give and you shall receive.</b>

Just as in the professional world, the old adage of “You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” is true on Facebook. Spend time reading and responding to the posts of others in your social network. Answer questions when you can and help connect your contacts to one another when appropriate. Your efforts to help others will be remembered when it’s your turn to reach out for a favor or some important career information.

<b>•    Use Facebook with discipline.</b>

As any Facebook user knows, it’s a slippery slope once you start exploring all the possibilities this site has to offer. It takes discipline to be an active participant without whiling away hours of your time taking quizzes or watching YouTube links posted by your friends. Consider giving yourself a time limit for each session to avoid letting this site take over life. As with the Internet in general, there are plenty of apps on Facebook that are addictively fun and could easily gobble up half your workday. If you hope to use this site as a professional tool, try to minimize the games and silly apps you add to your page.

<b>•    Join groups that are associated with your current (or future) profession.</b>

There’s a group or cause for everything and anything on Facebook. Do some research to find and join the ones associated with your career and interests. Can’t find the group you want? Create your own and spread the word. Once established, the contacts in your group can be a valuable resource for career advice, support, networking, or event organization.

<b>•    Continue to grow your network.</b>

You never know who could help connect you to your next opportunity. The longer your list of friends, the better the chances that someone will be able to help when you’re looking for a physical therapist to shadow or a job in fashion design. If you are unsure about accepting friend invitations from certain acquaintances, consider creating a limited profile for these people to access.

With Web developers constantly creating new technologies, the possibilities for users on Facebook should continue to increase. Explore the site and don’t be afraid to experiment to discover how it can best work for your career.

Using Article Submission Sites to Improve Page Rank

Posted on December 20th, 2009 in Google | No Comments »

If you are trying to make money with a website or blog, traffic is the lifeblood of your business. Without traffic, everything stops and sales are stalled at zero. One of the easiest ways to build traffic is by using article submission sites.

To significantly improve your site’s page rank, your articles must contain an effective resource box linking back to your site Search engines use the number and quality of these back-links to determine the relative importance of your website. Sites that have large numbers of quality backlinks will show up on (or close to) page one when people search for particular terms or phrases. Less important sites (with fewer and lower quality backlinks) will appear near the bottom of those search results.

In order to acquire higher page rank, you must submit to the right article submission sites. Using the right article submission sites, your articles will be reviewed promptly, show up in the search engines quickly, provide you with plenty of traffic, and improve the Page Rank of your site.

Many directories have a Page Rank of 1 or even zero. Your site gets little or no benefit when you submit articles to these sites. To improve the page rank of your site, it is important to submit your articles to the largest article submission sites. Submit your articles to directories with a page rank of four or higher.

By consistently submitting articles to the Largest Article Submission Sites, you will improve the page rank of your site. It will not happen overnight, it takes time to increase your page rank. But as your numbers improve, your site should move up in the search rankings and you should begin to see an increase in the number of people coming to your site through searches.

Do you want to know how I do it? I have just completed my brand new guide on how to make money every day.

Using Internet Marketing to Make Fast Money

Posted on November 25th, 2009 in Internet Marketing | No Comments »

Nothing is more exciting than starting your own Internet marketing business. So much to do, so much to learn, so much to…well, face it, there is so much to do that at times it can be almost nerve racking.

All Internet marketers get into Internet marketing to make fast money, but, they do so thinking they won’t have to spend any money to do it. Nothing can be further from the truth. If you are going to have an Internet marketing business, you are going to have to have capital and expense money just as you would for any brick and mortar business. For more details visit to www.perpetual-traffic-generator.com .What’s nice is that there really are a lot of Internet Marketing Strategies to promote and advertise your new Internet marketing business that won’t bust the bank.

Here are some simple, cost effective methods any Internet marketer can use to increase your business visibility and for a minimum cash outlay. Before I get into some of these areas, you must remember, it takes time to build and expand your Internet marketing business or businesses. Don’t get discouraged if after a few days or weeks you aren’t getting results you think you should. It takes time, be patient, be persistent and most of all be serious about your new Internet marketing business.

The first thing you must have is a website. You can build one yourself, hire someone to build it for you or join one or more of the many Internet marketing programs that will build and host your website. Regardless of what you choose, if you are to succeed in Internet marketing you will need your own website.

The strategies below will assist you in attaining quality traffic to your site and making your first of many sales. Best of luck in your new Internet marketing venture.

1. Write Informative and Relevant Articles

The best way to get quality links and responsive traffic to your site is to write articles for your website and the products that you are selling. Research your products, write an article on each product or service that you are promoting. Be informative, don’t try and sell the product in your article. Let the sales page do the selling for you. At the bottom, put an about author” box with ONE LINK back to your sales page or website. Sit back, let nature and the article directories do their thing and in a matter of days you will start seeing fresh and unique traffic to your site.

2. Get Back Links To Your Site

While you will get some good quality back links to your site from the articles you have written, you should consider link exchanges with other relevant sites. The more relevant links to your site, the more popular the search engines will perceive it. Link exchanges take time to do, and they take time to be indexed. However, like anything worth doing, it’s worth the time and effort if you really want your business to succeed. Search the Internet for Link Exchange Programs and find the one that best fits your budget.

3. Building Your List With Your Newsletter

Virtually every Internet marketing business has a newsletter” for visitors to subscribe to. This is absolutely key to your success. If someone signed up for your newsletter, you already know they are interested in your product. If used properly, your newsletter could be your greatest asset and bring you in more money than you could ever imagine. You must use this tool to promote other products and services to your ?oeList”.

4. Join Quality Internet Marketing Forums

While searching for a forum, keep in mind that Forums ARE NOT a place to sell your products. At least not directly! Forums are basically Internet marketing chat rooms”. The people who go to these Forums do so to meet like minded people, learn new Internet marketing techniques and skills, and yes, many of the individuals in this forum are just like you….Internet marketers. Spend time in a forum, respond intelligently to posts, and provide relevant information. When you are perceived as someone with knowledge, you will gain their trust and respect. Use an authorized signature” where you can put a link or two for your products or websites. This is an excellent means of learning the business and even finding partners if you so desire.

5. Affiliate Marketing

This is by far the easiest way to get into Internet marketing. Join a quality affiliate marketing program. Here you will probably get free websites, e-Books, products, virtually anything you will ever need to start” a business. For more information logon to www.popups-generator.com .As you progress in your learning and in your Internet marketing skills, you may begin to build your own sites, your own products and start your own affiliate marketing program. As I stated, this is the easiest way to start your career, but, there are a lot of scams and unreliable Internet marketers out there .Take your time, learn about the program, search the Internet for information on the marketer and the program. One thing I have always liked to do is check if it’s a SCAM. The easiest way to do this is to type the name of the program you are interested in and then SCAM at the end. Something likes this:

ABC MARKETING SCAM. If there is anything on this program, the search engines will find it. You will have eliminated a bad program or possibly found exactly what you want in an Internet marketing program. Either way, always do your research

<a onClick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(’/outgoing/article_exit_link’);” href=”http://www.mrx-interview.com”>www.mrx-interview.com</a>

<a onClick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(’/outgoing/article_exit_link’);” href=”http://www.the-forum-list.com”>www.the-forum-list com</a>

I m here for submitting good n useful articles.

You’re Sales Using Internet Marketing Strategy!

Posted on November 19th, 2009 in Internet Marketing | No Comments »

Do you have an Internet marketing strategy for your online business? You should. Internet marketing and Internet advertising, when done properly, can drive traffic to your website and practically double your sales overnight. In fact, advertising your site may be the only way for you to compete with larger, more established competitors.

While there are many different forms of Internet marketing strategy that you can employ, one of the easiest and most reliable forms is results tracking. When you track the results of your Internet advertising campaigns, you can quickly learn what works and what doesn’t work. .For obvious reasons, this method is much better than a random hit and misses advertising method, which can turn out to be quite costly, not to mention ineffective.

Of course, this form of Internet marketing strategy isn’t anything new. Direct marketers have been using results tracking for years, for more details visit to www.outsource-beginners.com and it can easily be adapted for the Internet. The key is to come up with a way to measure the results of Internet advertising accurately. If you’re tracking is not accurate, there is little to no point in doing it.

To make sure their tracking results are accurate, many direct marketers use a trick known as split testing. Split testing uses a specific key or tracking device to associate a sale with the advertisement that produced the sale.

For example, in a print ad, the key or tracking device that may be used could be a specific phone number or extension. When a customer utilizes the number or extension, the marketer knows exactly which ad drove the customer to seek out the advertised product or service. If the same ad produced repeated sales, for more details visit to www.sell-using-the-web.com the marketer knows that the advertising is effective and worth doing again. On the other hand, if the ad didn’t even produce enough sales to pay for the advertising, then the marketer knows not to try that again.

The same split testing method used by direct marketers can easily be adapted and incorporated into your Internet marketing strategy, allowing you to determine exactly how effective or ineffective your Internet advertising is.

To track the success and failure of Internet advertising, most Internet marketers typically use some sort of tracking software to associate the key with sales. A simple way to do this is to develop two web pages that feature two different ads. You can then track the sales results of each ad to see which worked best, and if necessary, adjust your Internet marketing strategy accordingly.

For example, let’s say that on one of the pages, you received a total of 2,000 page views and 20 sales. This means that you have a success rate of one percent. Not bad. This is the average for both direct mail advertising and Internet advertising. Now that you have this information, you have statistics you can rely on. You can test other pages to see if they perform better or worse. You can also adapt the original pages to see if your changes have any effect on the sales outcome. For example, try adjusting headlines, graphics, text, and anything else you can think of. Then, compare the results of these changes to the original results.

After you have tested different variations of your Internet advertising, you can quickly determine exactly what works and what doesn’t. Your Internet market strategy and any future advertising that you do can then be adjusted accordingly. If you succeed, you may be able to double your sales without throwing away good money over and over again on advertising.
